Why join Derbyshire Dales CVS?

Like most CVS in the country, Derbyshire Dales CVS is a membership organisation. This means that local voluntary organisations, individuals and statutory organisations can become members of our organisation. Part of our ethos is that we develop services to support the voluntary sector, and that we represent the interests of the voluntary sector at a strategic level. Having a strong membership is an important factor in achieving these aims. Being a member of a CVS means that you can:

• Show your support for the aims of the CVS
• Influence the way the CVS develops in the future

We offer certain discounts and benefits to members and we encourage any organisation in receipt of support, information or advice from us to become a member.

Membership forms are taken to the next Trustee Board Meeting which is never usually more than 8 weeks away. And once membership is approved, you will be informed.

Membership entitles you to a range of discounts including photocopying at 4p a copy (black and white), free loan of display boards for community events, cheaper room hire for small meetings and discounts on hire of equipment. For a full list of our discounts please see our charges for services.
