Update on Social Connectedness Sept 2025

To read the report seeking approval for the continuation and funding of a community resilience and social connectedness project in Derbyshire, aimed at enhancing social connections and addressing loneliness in rural communities, please click here.

The report outlines the plan to extend the Derbyshire Rural Communities Resilience and Social Connection Project for an additional 18 months, from October 2025 to March 2027.

We are pleased to announce that this has been approved.

In the meantime, if you have an idea for a group, activity or project which will create social opportunities and connect people, please get in touch to chat about it! We may be able to offer support in terms of planning, publicity, and funding.
