Children and Young People Emotional Wellbeing Small Grants

The Dales Local Integration Group, funded by Derbyshire County Council Public Health, is pleased to announce that the Children and Young People Emotional Wellbeing Small Grants are now open for applications.

Grants of up to £5,000 are available for community-based projects that support the emotional wellbeing of children and young people, with a focus on early intervention, prevention and alignment with the THRIVE Framework.

DCC Public Health welcomes applications for projects seeking up to £5,000. As a guide, we are particularly interested in proposals in the region of £2,000–£3,000. Applications will be considered for funding up to the maximum amount where there is a well-developed project plan supported by a strong, evidence-based rationale.

Please note that projects must be delivered outside the school setting and outside the school day (not before or after school).

Please see the guidance document for full details, including who can apply, what can be funded and what to include in your application.

For an application form, please contact Fiona.unwin@derbyshire.gov.uk

Please note the closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday 12th June 2026.

Feel free to share this opportunity with your contacts and networks. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch with Fiona Unwin.
