Ian a born and bred Yorkshireman who now lives in Derbyshire on the edge of the beautiful Peak District is the person responsible for maintaining the DDCVS finance records and reporting to the Trustees.

Ian, a qualified accountant, has over 40 years experience in accountancy practice where in addition to working with charities and not for profit organisations, has worked alongside a variety of businesses in varied industries in the owner managed SME sector.

During this time Ian has made presentations on numerous financial matters to small businesses including accounting and taxation.

Ian has also worked with the Prince’s Trust, presenting to young budding entrepreneurs on business startup strategies.

Ian likes to spend his down time on a sandy beach with a good book. He also enjoys exploring the Peak District on two wheels, stopping for Fish and Chips.
