Derbyshire Grant – Funded by Bolsover Reuse Shop

We’re delighted to launch Derbyshire Grants, a new partnership between Derbyshire Voluntary Action and HW Martin, supporting local organisations and schools to make a positive difference to Derbyshire’s environment. HW Martin manages Derbyshire’s Household Waste Recycling Centres on behalf of Derbyshire County Council. Its dedicated reuse shops give items another life rather than allowing them to go to waste. Profits generated through the Bolsover Reuse Shop are now being reinvested into Derbyshire communities through this new grant programme.

Grants of £500–£2,500 are available to help voluntary, community and not-for-profit organisations, groups and schools turn environmental ideas into action.

Funding can support a range of project costs, including activities and events; improvements to facilities that make them more sustainable and reduce running costs; refreshments; and materials, tools and plants.

Applications open: Monday 14 September 2026
Closing date: Friday 23 October 2026

This fund cannot support projects or activities taking place in Derby City.
