Investing in stronger organisations. Delivering greater impact.

We strengthen the local voluntary sector so organisations are more resilient, better governed, and able to deliver high-quality support and activities across rural Derbyshire.

Why invest in DDCVS?

We don’t deliver just one service, we strengthen the organisations delivering a broad range of services across Derbyshire.

What your investment enables:

  • More resilient organisations
  • Stronger frontline services
  • Increased volunteer capacity
  • Better coordination across the sector
  • Stronger rural representation

How we deliver impact:

DDCVS Strategy for 2026-27, our priorities:

Why additional funding matters. We are currently prioritising high-impact activity while seeking investment to expand our reach.

Funding will enable:

  • More organisations supported
  • Faster digital support rollout
  • Expanded volunteer programmes
  • Greater capacity and reach

We don’t just deliver services, we make the whole system work better.

Our future sustainability

Like many charities, DDCVS is facing significant changes in funding alongside rising costs. In 2026/27 we are addressing a substantial funding gap while implementing a transformation plan to build a more sustainable future.

We are using reserves responsibly to maintain essential services during this transition, but these are time-limited. Without additional funding, we will need to make difficult decisions about the scope of our work. Support from funders, partners and individual donors helps us continue providing vital support to over 240 voluntary organisations across the Derbyshire Dales.
