Christine joined the trustees in May 2026, bringing with her a professional background in marketing and communications, as well as a passion for supporting charitable organisations.

As her day job, Christine is Head of Marketing and Communications for Sika, a Swiss company that produces products for the construction industry. She holds a bachelors degree in public relations and a master’s in digital marketing, as well as various qualifications in internal communications and social media management.

Christine was born and raised close to Blackpool, Lancashire but has lived in many locations including a five year period in Switzerland, before eventually moving to the Peak District in 2024. She also volunteers as a listener with the Samaritans in Buxton, and in any remaining free time she enjoys hiking with her dog and husband, gardening, and renovating her Victorian house in Chapel Milton
