Carolyn was employed by Barclays PLC in various MarCom roles. Her most memorable was working in the City as National and International Events Manager for Corporate Banking.

After completing a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) she moved into Local Government managing the team responsible for delivering services at her local Town Council, and Youth Town Council. She worked in partnership with other Councils, Youth Services, the local Police team, community groups and volunteers.

On relocating to Derbyshire Carolyn was recruited by the British Red Cross as People and Learning Manager for Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, and Cheshire. Working closely with both staff and volunteers to facilitate learning and development.
