Rachel Metcalfe

Rachel Metcalfe is our Community Voice lead, working two days per week on this project.

Rachel works with a wide range of local agencies and groups to ensure we can get you all the up to date information you need about keeping safe in your community along with other health and wellbeing information both locally and nationwide.  The project welcomes feedback and ideas from communities to ensure that everyone can have a voice.

Rachel says: “When I’m not working at DDCVS I manage the Farming Life Centre – a small charity supporting Farmers and Rural communities across the Peak District.  I have a passion for communities, making sure they can thrive and that they have access to the right services, support and information to make sure this happens.  Outside of the working week I enjoy spending time with my family and help to run the family sheep farm in the beautiful village of Edale.”
