Polly Yates works together with Sarah Paisley to support community and voluntary sector groups across the Derbyshire Dales offering advice and information.

Polly has worked with a number of local and national voluntary sector organisations including managing the Macmillan Readycall project in the Dales and working with national charity Blind Veterans.

Polly has previous experience both as a volunteer and Trustee with local charities.

In her early 20’s Polly moved to Africa to accompany her husband who was working on rural water supply and sanitation projects. Returning to the UK, Polly attended Derby University where she graduated with a degree in Applied Social Care, Health and Community Studies in 2009.

Polly has lived in the Derbyshire Dales since 2000 and enjoys spending time walking in the surrounding peaks and dales.
