Neil Moulden

Neil Moulden, Chief Executive; Neil manages the organisation and supports key partnerships with agencies such as Derbyshire County Council, Derbyshire Dales District Council, the Integrated Care Board and the Peak District National Park Authority. He also provides development support to Derbyshire Dales CVS members on topics such as governance and business planning.

Neil has held the post of Chief Executive and Company Secretary of Derbyshire Dales CVS since 2004, having joined the CVS in 2002. He is also a Board and Executive Committee of the Peak District Partnership and a Board member of Third Sector Support for Derbyshire (DDIA). He is a trustee of the NWG Network and a Governor at Castle View School in Matlock.

He has formerly chaired the Peak District Rural Deprivation Forum and the College of the Peak. He has served as Treasurer of the Derbyshire Learning and Development Consortium, as a Director of Rural Action Derbyshire, a Trustee of the NWG Network, a Governor of Castle View School in Matlock, a Board member of Nature Peak District and as a Director and Company Secretary of Alternatives Activity Centre in Derby. Prior to joining Derbyshire Dales CVS, Neil spent two years working in a Community Development role for the Peak District Rural Deprivation Forum, and prior to that was the Administrator of Derbyshire Community Foundation for 6 years.

Neil also taught Management Studies (ILM) at Derby College. Before moving to work in the voluntary sector Neil spent 10 years working in the printing industry. Outside of work, Neil has a wide range of interests including reading, gardening and the arts, and he is keen birdwatcher- a lifelong interest that has taken him to some far-flung and remote areas of the world.
