Freedom Leisure, at the Arc, Matlock is launching a new, simplified Pickleball and ball games group for individuals with early-stage dementia and their caregivers.

Starting Friday 24 January 2025, from 11am-12pm, this group runs for six weeks initially and is free of charge.

Pickleball is a wonderful activity that can help keep the mind and body active, making it especially beneficial for people with dementia.

It is a fun and simple game that combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis and is played on a court.
