The Better Derbyshire Dales Fund is in its ninth year of awarding small grants to voluntary and community groups in the Dales.

The fund is a mixture of money from the Derbyshire Dales District Council, Derbyshire County Council Public Health, and Derbyshire Integrated Care Board.

Over the years it has funded all sort of projects and activities locally including contributions towards beginners’ bowls and kit for Baslow Bowls Club, new bench, path and shed roof maintenance for Bakewell Monyash Road Allotments, and the running costs of Calver, Curbar and Froggatt Senior Citizens Club.

The Better Derbyshire Dales Fund has quarterly rounds throughout the year with the next closing date being Friday 31^st January 2025.

Voluntary organisations can apply for up to £5,000 of capital costs and/or £1,000 of revenue costs for their project.
