Youth Work Induction Workshop

As part of the Derbyshire Youth Transformation Pilot, StreetGames are hosting a  Youth Work Induction Workshops in partnership with an experienced Youth Work leader. This interactive session provides a practical introduction to high-quality youth work, grounded in recognised frameworks and the Youth Work Code of Ethics.
The workshop will cover:

  • What youth work is and isn’t
  • Key issues facing society today
  • Safeguarding, professional boundaries and safe practice
  • Reflective practice and evaluation
  • Different delivery models and settings

Participants will leave with practical tools and approaches they can apply immediately (e.g. icebreakers, session planning, ground rules). The workshop is limited to 20 places to ensure quality learning. If demand is high, additional sessions will be added.
