How to be a Good Trustee
Being a charity Trustee can be a fascinating and rewarding role and thousands of people across the UK serve as trustees of Registered Charities. Being a Trustee also has its challenges and it comes with roles and responsibilities that it is important to be aware of. This course aims to enable trustees to approach their task in a well-informed and confident way.
This course will be looking at:
· Reviewing the basics - are you in line with Charity Commission guidelines?
· What are the current "hot topics" in Governance?
This aims to be an open session which will underline basic guidelines but give us the opportunity to discuss a wider range of Governance topics related to your needs
Budgeting and Cash Flow
Setting accurate budgets and cash-flows is a very important part of managing the finances of any voluntary organisation or charity. This session will look at how you can ensure that your financial forecasting is robust and reliable, by applying some simple but effective methods.
