NEW PROJECT FOR DDCVS

The Great Escape Project is a new programme commissioned by Derbyshire Dales District Council Community Housing run in conjunction with Derbyshire Dales CVS. The scheme is to initially run as a pilot.

The project focuses on clients who live in supported housing or receives floating support in the Derbyshire Dales.

The project consists of two strands:

1. Enables access to leisure facilities across the district for a reduced rate of £1 per session including gym, swim and other classes. A person can visit up to two times per week at any of the four leisure centres in the Derbyshire Dales.

2. Provision of an Enhanced signposting service that will help people access activities and opportunities within the Derbyshire Dales this project is run by CVS.
