DERBYSHIRE DALES MEANS BUSINESS
13 December 2011
In response to the recent closure of local Business Link services, Derbyshire Dales District Council has today established an interim business support service to help Dales' businesses to grow. The programme, funded by the District Council, will run for the next six months, providing face to face support for those planning to grow their business and take on staff. A series of local events are also being planned to help develop existing businesses and people thinking of starting a business in the Dales.
The service is designed to complement information and advice available on the national Businesss Link website www.businesslink.gov.uk and events being organised by the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce.
Whilst funding pressures mean that only a part-time advice service can be provided, the District Council feels strongly that local businesses, particularly those with growth plans, need this support.
Priority will be given to those businesses with growth potential. Please go to www.derbyshiredales.gov.uk/business for more information.
