OUR FUNDING ADVICE SERVICE

DDCVS Funding Information and Advice Service

Our Funding Information and Advice Service available free of charge to anyone involved in a voluntary or community group working in the Derbyshire Dales.

At DDCVS we can help you search for funding for your project. We keep up to date with most local funding streams so can signpost you to a small local pot if that is appropriate. Or we can use a variety of resources to try and find a suitable grant for your project. We have a number of funding guides in the library and we subscribe to both Funder Finder which is a database of funding opportunities.

You can also access www.derbyshire4funding.info from any computer with internet access - it is free database made available through funding from ChangeUp.

Funder Finder is a computer database which holds details of trusts and foundations and the areas of work they support. Funder Finder asks a variety of questions about your project and then puts all your details into the database and filters out what wouldn’t fund you leaving you with suggestions as to what would. It should be seen as a tool to finding funds and is a good exercise in working out what your project or work is about and what you need.

If your group is looking for funds, or if you would simply like to use these resources out of interest, please contact DDCVS to arrange a time to come in.

Please call 01629 812154 to arrange a time to discuss this with staff at Bakewell.

Remember even if you know where you are applying to we can always read through your draft application and offer suggestions.
